Monoshox NG Plus ME
Monoshox® NG Plus ME metering units with electric distribution drive
MONOSEM offers a new seed population control system, based on an electric distribution drive of the metering units.
Each metering unit has an electric motor driving the distributions via a notched belt. Without maintenance, this transmission takes up little space whilst conserving all inter-row possibilities. On the planters with more than 6 metering units, the power supply is ensured by a generator driven by the turbofan PTO shaft.
A battery ensures a constant supply to the electric motors, independent from the PTO speed. The photoelectric cells check the seed drop and the population. The information on speed, via a radar, ensures precise control of seed population. The seed population and the seed drop controls are managed from the tractor cab, by the ISOBUS CS8000, CS8000 Touch or tractor cab terminal if compatible.
This system also allows to manage manual or automatic (if the terminal is linked to a GPS antenna) row cut-offs.
Already operational, this technology will be available in limited quantity for 2015 planting.
