MONOSEM will exhibit, on their stand at the Agritechnica show (Hall 11 - Stand C54), a pull type fertilier Cart for its drills. This 3500-litre hopper gives a solution to fertilise with a planter up to 12 rows in maize configuration.
Compatible with drills up to 16 row units

The CT 3500 is mounted on a pull-type frame equipped with a standard tractor D50 ring front hitch (K80 ball hitch available on option), and a rear 3-Point hitch cat. 3/3N at the rear. The 4T lift capacity allows coupling planters up to 12 rows at 75 or 80 cm inter-row spacings or 16 rows at 37,5 cm inter-row spacing. As standard, the cart is equipped with 710/50R22,5 low pressure tyres enabling a 3m transport width (with 3m transport width equipment attached). 270/95R32 twin wheels are also available on option for those who prefer to avoid running on the future seeding line, and use with inter row cultivators. In this case, the transport width is also of 3m with inter-rows of 70 or 75 cm. For other inter-row spacings, the transport width is always less than 3,50m. The CT3500 has an hydraulic or pneumatic braking system to travel safely on the road with a fully loaded hopper.
Versatility with other equipment
The CT3500 fertiliser cart allows a smaller horsepower and lighter tractor to be used when compared to the size of tractor required on a drill with a mounted fertiliser hopper. Moreover, to adapt to the planter’s weight and have a minimum weight impact on the tractor hitch, the CT 3500 has on its drawbar a 1.6T weight composed of 600kg and two 500 kg quickly removable weights. This allows the reduction of weight on the fertilizer hitch depending on the drill used or when it is coupled to for example a cultivator / inter-row hoe. With the objective of coupling a wide variety of tools to the fertiliser cart, at the rear hitch there are hydraulic and lighting sockets plus a through PTO shaft to mechanically drive the drill or other equipments turbofans.
3500-litre capacity
The CT 3500 has a proven double stainless steel distribution unit. Identical to the distribution units used on MONOSEM front fertiliser hoppers, with two electric drives. The application rate is managed by the ISOBUS F800E ECU offering the metering anticipation function and the AEF certification for UT, TC-BAS and TC-SC functions. A radar, fixed on the cart enables the automatic regulation. A turbofan enables the fertiliser transport to the individual row units with discs via two distribution columns placed on the drill. With a capacity of 3500 litres, the hopper has a lateral access platform and is equipped with a sieve, cover, agitators and hopper sensors.
With this high capacity pull-type cart, MONOSEM offers a solution for localized dry fertilising for farmers and contractors using planters up to 12 rows in maize configuration and other equipment
